I haven't used the sound much so I don't really know how well it works. Great picture. It is exactly what I have been looking for in a webcam for the right price. The software was easy to install and it is very useful.
Unfortunately once the owlets fledged the Owl Box, the owner took the system off line.But the camera and microphone were still fully functional and performing superior when this took place. The owner of the owl box kept saying that this camera and microphone weren't designed for such use, and was preparing the viewers for an inevitable loss of sound, which NEVER happened. have been watching an online Owl Box web cam that used this product and it demonstrated superior quality with continued 24/7 operation over a 4 month period. The sound and picture clarity continuously provided the "experience of being there" to 100s of thousands viewers from around the world feel.
Very easy installation and ease of use plus caught at a great price. Great little web cam. Bought on recommendation of my brother on west coast so we could communicate.

The Autofocus was completely inconsistent- sometimes only shooting your forehead and the ceiling, zooming in and out to the extreme without regard to centering your face, or simply putting you on the edge of picture.
